“I’m super-duper excited about this collaboration with FabAlley,” said Tytler in a video, FabAlley shared on Facebook to announce the partnership. “It’s a beautiful capsule collection for the summer, I just can’t wait until the reveal.”

The collaborative collection has launched on FabAlley’s dedicated e-commerce store and brick-and-mortar retail outlets. The collection features a mix of more resort style garments such as printed maxi dresses with shirred bodices and floaty separates as well as workwear appropriate dresses and matching sets. Prints in aquatic hues bring to mind recent runway collections by Tytler’s eponymous brand and the collection has a number of day-to-night pieces for versatility.

FabAlley has collaborated with a number of Indian designers, recently launching a line of festive party wear with Rimzim Dadu. The brand is owned by High Street Essentials which was founded in 2012 by Shivani Poddar and Tanvi Malik. High Street Essentials also runs women’s ethnic wear brand Indya and describes itself as a fast fashion brand specifically catering to Indian women.

Siddartha Tytler has been a member of the Fashion Design Council of India since 2006 and is known for his dramatic occasion wear. Tytler’s brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store which has segments for both men and women.
