FabIndia steps into skincare, haircare with new line Fabessentials

Ethnic wear and lifestyle brand FabIndia has stepped into skincare and haircare with the launch of its new product line ‘Fabessentials’.

On December 1, FabIndia launched its maiden line of natural skincare and haircare products on its dedicated e-commerce site, the brand announced on Facebook. The new Fabessentials line launched with 70 different products priced from Rs 95 ($1.27) to Rs 1,390 which feature, “ingredients sourced from nature,” FabIndia announced on its website. 
 
Products feature natural ingredients including lavender, tea-tree, jasmine, rosemary, saffron, marigold, coffee, and orange among others. The products’ bright packaging features illustrations of flowers and fruits and notable products include a Rice Water snd Yoghurt Hair Mask and a Passion Flower Body Spray. The product line launched with the tagline ‘Kindness is essential’ and its marketing campaign focuses on natural beauty and using ‘kind’ ingredients. 

FabIndia also recently launched its latest womenswear and menswear collections for winter 2021/2022 named ‘Reflections’. With a colour palette of aubergine, icy turquoise, and charcoal, the collection’s North Indian inspirations can be seen with layered styling and bold silver jewellery. 
 
FabIndia retails from its dedicated e-commerce store and chain of outlets across India. The brand relaunched what was its first ever store in New Delhi in September and launched an ethical clothing line in the same month. The brand is also planning an initial public offering.
