The store is located at Elante Mall in Chandigarh and spread over an area of 847 sq ft. HSE plans to further strengthen its retail presence in the Indian market and will open around eight stores during the current fiscal year. The company also plans to open another 12 stores for its ethnic wear brand Indya.

Commenting on the offline expansion, Shivani Poddar and Tanvi Malik, co-Founders of High Street Essentials, in a joint statement said: “It’s been seven years since we launched our online store, and it is now time to take the brand experience up a notch for our very supportive customers. Since the brand has been successfully growing online and offline through large format retail, we felt the next step was to create a more experiential format.”

“Our first exclusive store in Chandigarh is the first step in just that direction, with three more stores planned for launch over the next three months. The idea is to launch six to eight FabAlley stores this fiscal, while also growing Indya’s existing 18 stores to 30 by the end of the year,” the statement added.

HSE currently has a physical presence in over 250 shop-in-shops in Lifestyle, Central, Globus, Ethnicity and Project Eve for both its brands Indya and FabAlley.
