FDCI x LFW launches Virtual Showroom for buyers with 18 brands

On October 6, the Fashion Design Council of India and Lakme Fashion Week’s phygital fashion show launched a Virtual Showroom to give industry buyers access to the latest collections by 18 Indian brands. 

Limerick by Abirr N’Nanki's designs are available to buyers at the Virtual Showroom along with 17 other brands - FDCI- Facebook


This season’s Virtual Showroom features a mix of long established ethnic wear designers as well as up-and-coming young labels, the FDCI announced on Facebook. The online business-to-business platform aims to link brands with buyers to boost distribution. 
 
“FDCI x LFW Virtual Showroom is live and open for [the] next 3 months,” the FDCI announced on Facebook. “This ingenious online B2B platform offers the finest Indian fashion. From exploring the designer collections to their product details, you can experience the magic of the most coveted designer labels in this one-stop portal for three months.”

The Virtual Showroom features brands Abraham and Thakore, Abhishek Gupta, Geisha Designs by Paras and Shalini, Mxs by Monisha Jaising and Schweta Bachchan Nanda, Ak-Ok Anamika Khanna, Rina Dhaka, Cocccon, Nikita Mhaisalkar, Nidhi Yasha, Ranna Gill, Mishru, Arpita Mehta, Chola, Bandit, Jade by Monica and Karishma, Limerick by Abirr N’Nanki, Nirmooha, and Line Outline by Deepit Chugh.
 
 
FDCI x LFW runs from October 5 to 10 both on and offline with a mix of digital presentations and physical events. The fashion week is the second collaborative edition between the FDCI and Lakme Fashion Week following its first edition this spring and sponsors include Rise Worldwide and Nexa.
