Eye My Eye has launched ‘Eye My Eye Play’ ahead of Valentine’s Day, the business announced in a press release on February 11. The open-ear, Bluetooth-enabled glasses come as both eye glasses and polarised sunglasses and allow the wearer to take phone calls or listen to music in any location.

“Technology has revolutionised the eyewear industry,” said the brand’s founder and CEO Ganesh Iyer in a press release.

“Brands are taking efforts to provide technologically superior products to their customers. Further, today’s generation is yearning for gadget-friendly accessories. Through this collection, we intend to fulfil the demand and requirements of our esteemed patrons by offering them a combination of cutting-edge design and performance. Crafted to perfection and ideal for gifting your loved ones, we are foreseeing this collection to be a humongous success.”

The Bluetooth-enabled eyewear has been designed to have several other valuable features, according to the brand. As the wearer does not need to insert earphones to listen to music, it is more hygienic for the ears as earphones can harbour dirt. Moreover, as the glasses do not block ambient noises from reaching the ears as earphones do, they elevate the wearer’s situational awareness and safety, according to Eye My Eye.

The brand also recently launched a sustainable line of glasses made from bamboo. Eye My Eye retails from its dedicated e-commerce store.
