Eye My Eye raises Rs 21 crore from marquee investors

Eye My Eye Pvt Ltd, an online market retailer, has raised Rs 21 crore ($2.9 million) from angel investors in pre-series A funding round at a valuation of Rs 102 crore.

The company will utilise the funds on expansion, technology, and marketing to fuel its growth in the Indian eyewear market.
 
Commenting on the fund raise, Ganesh Iyer, founder and CEO in a statement said: “We are very delighted to have such quality names in our cap table. The very fact that such marquee and proven investors have invested in us, shows the level of conviction and faith they have with regards to our ambitious growth prospects.”

“We are very happy to onboard them and look forward to utilise their proven expertise in the start-up space that shall help us achieve our objectives,” Iyer added.
 
Eye My Eye is one of the largest players in the Indian eyewear industry with over 30 international eyewear brands. The brand claims to have over 5 million users within four months of its launch.
