Eye My Eye launches sustainable eyewear frames

Online eyewear retailer Eye My Eye has gone sustainable with the launch of its new eco-friendly collection ‘Bamboo Eyewear Range’ which it claims is designed using 100 percent organic bamboo material.

The Bamboo eyewear range includes eyeglasses and polarized sunglasses. The brand expects its new collection to generate strong sales amongst its eco-friendly customer base.
 
Commenting on the new collection, Ganesh Iyer, founder CEO of Eye My Eye in a statement said, “The eyewear market in India has progressed over the years to cater to the needs of its evolving customer base. Eye My Eye had recently raised Rs 21 crore ($2.9 million) from angel investors in pre-Series A funding round at a valuation of Rs 102 crore to fuel its growth in the Indian market.
 
Eye My Eye is one of the largest players in the Indian eyewear industry with over 30 international eyewear brands. The brand claims to have over 5 million users.
