Evoluzione has decided to shine the spotlight on men’s fashion this spring with its Men’s Sartorial Edit: a pop-up exhibition featuring menswear designers that are defying gender stereotypes and preconceived ideas of what menswear should be in India.

The boutique launched the event on April 14 and it will run throughout the month. Participating designers include Khanijo, Arjan Dugal, Bloni Atelier, Unit by Rajatsuri and International Woolmark Prize winner Suket Dhir.

As part of the event, Evoluzione has created special themed dressing rooms for men including a “Groom’s room” and a special menswear display has been set up in-store. Everything from traditional wear to casual wear features as well as men’s long dresses by Bloni Atelier.

The menswear exhibition is one of a number of events celebrating more adventurous mens fashion. India’s fashion industry is embracing gender fluidity with showcases at Lakme Fashion Week among others promoting a more free approach to men’s styling.

Evoluzione was founded in 2000 and retails a selection of luxury womenswear, menswear, and accessories. The multi-brand store has held a number of events in 2019 so far including an Ananya jewellery showcase on March 28, Pankaj & Nidhi clothing collection showcase in February.
