Ethnic wear brand AKS enters offline market, opens two stores in Nagaland

Ethnic wear brand AKS has entered the offline market with the opening of its first two retail stores in the northeast region of India. The brand opened its flagship stores at prime locations of Dimapur and Kohima city in Nagaland.

The stores are spread across an area of 300 square feet each and will house AKS’s complete range of ethnic and Indo-western fashion outfits and accessories.
 
Commenting on the launch of two new stores, Nidhi Yadav, founder and head creative of AKS Clothing in a statement said, “The launch of our flagship stores in Dimapur and Kohima is a significant achievement for us and underlines the importance of these cities for the brand. The findings of our internal research based on the rising sales shares from the north-east region of the country depict that it is the emerging market for the fashion & lifestyle brands.”

The brand is looking to strengthen its offline presence across India and will be adding 10 more retail outlets in leading metros and tier 1 cities by the end of the current fiscal.
 
“We will soon be opening more offline stores in Delhi-NCR and other cities around the nation and have aimed to have at least 10 retail outlets of the brand by the end of the current fiscal year,” Nidhi added.
 
Brand Aks, is owned by Yuvdhi Apparels Private Limited and currently sells its products on all big online platforms like Myntra, Jabong, Flipkart, Amazon, Limeroad, Voonil, Snapdeal and more.
