Essie enlists Rebecca Minkoff to handle colors

Essie, the nail polish brand owned by L'Oréal, has enlisted the fashion expertise of designer Rebecca Minkoff, naming her “global color designer”. Her responsabilities will include the design of new colors and new shades.

Minkoff is the founder of the eponymous ready-to-wear and accessories brand, which has three flagship locations and a presence in 900 stores worldwide. The designer has worked with Essie on nail art for its fashion shows since 2011.

In 2014, Fortune Magazine included Rebecca Minkoff on its list of 40 of the most influential young people in business under 40.
