Eshaa Amiin presented a collection titled ‘Afro – Rhapsody’ featuring bold printed textiles, bohemian layers, and resort-style drapery. The vibrant hues and tassel details made for a youthful womenswear collection and actress Chitrangda Singh walked as showstopper for the brand in a purple and yellow dress.

Guapa was next in the showcase with a collection named ‘P.O.N.D.I’, designed as a love letter to Pondicherry. The collection featured men’s and womenswear with candy stripes and classic separates in breathable fabrics. With a beachy feel and retro charm, the collection was playful yet refined and actress Rhea Chakraborty closed the show.

Limerick by Abirr n' Nanki presented 'Artopia' inspired by classic Indian miniature paintings. By using 3D embroidery, the brand rendered delicate motifs depicting traditional scenes on maxi skirts and capes among other floaty garments. Malaika Arora closed the show in a deep blue set pairing a bralet with a long skirt and voluminous outer layer.

Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with the FDCI runs from October 12 to 16 at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre. The fashion week’s sponsors include Nexa and the event also features a Designer Stockroom business-to-customer sale and a number of design contests and sustainable fashion initiatives.
