Escada announces the arrival of Tony Kirbach as Global Director of E-commerce. The manager replaces Natalie Süssmann, who left for Bench at the beginning of October, but with an increased range of responsibilities.

In addition to e-commerce and digital marketing, he will also supervise the installation of the CRM systems.

Tony Kirbach has had a long career with few employers. In 1990, he started working at 3M as an adhesives specialist and, in 1996, became the company's marketing and communications director for Europe.

In 2000, he joined Bose, the high-end audio systems specialist. He stayed there for ten years, 7 of which he was the head of international e-commerce. Between Bose and Escada, he spent a year as chief marketing officer at Adviqo, a leader in the domain of spiritual counselling and astrology on the Web and through television.

The Munich-based women's fashion label has also just created the position of Retail Academy Manager, which it has conferred to Ramona Thomas. The manager has extensive experience in coaching, training and backing. Among other things, she has put retail academy programmes and training sessions in place for customers like Daimler, Microsoft and Frank Hartmann.

For Escada, the new CRM system and the retail academy should clearly help to improve branch performance and clientele knowledge.
