As part of its continued efforts to increase Indian handicraft exports in the global market, the EPCH will travel with a group of Indian handicrafts businesses to Hong Kong for the HKTDC’s two trade shows, which will run concurrently from April 20 to 23, 2020.

The organisation will run an India Pavilion at the event for “Made in India” products with an emphasis on textiles.

“Hong Kong is a gateway of exports to North east Asia and to the other parts of the world,” the EPCH wrote in a media release.

“These fairs organised by HKTDC provide effective platform for buyers and exhibitors.”

The Hong Kong Home Textile & Furnishing Fair will cover product categories including textiles, bed linens, rugs, furnishing fabrics, curtains, bath robes, and cushions, among others.

Indian businesses already confirmed for the fair include Kpm Overseas, KRS Exports and Imports, JC Merchandising Private Limited, Acacia Concepts, Pranav Textile Creations Private Limited, and Vennila Tex Exports, among others, according to the trade show’s official website.

The event will also run at the same time as Hong Kong Fashion Week.
