Ensemble holds exclusive launch for new brand Studio Medium
New brand Studio Medium launched at multi-brand boutique Ensemble’s Khan Market store in New Delhi on November 27, with its maiden collection of naturally dyed womenswear separates.
Studio Medium’s range of androgynous, free-form clothing is now available at Ensemble, the multi-brand boutique announced on Facebook.
Created as a collaboration between Riddhi Jain and Tulika Ranjan, Studio Medium’s first clothing launch is “a capsule collection of versatile separates and carefree drapes that sets the skin free,” the brand posted on its Facebook page.
“Naturally dyed in Indigo, the foundation of this range is set on the philosophies of zero waste pattern making, allowing every inch of the fabric, including the selvedge, to be used as a detail,” the brand posted on Facebook.
With specially developed patterns that tessellate to eliminate waste, the brand aims to promote sustainable fashion through design innovation. Medium also uses the Japanese artisan craft of Shibori to create stitched details on the clothing that is intended to be trans-seasonal and versatile.
The brand had already presented a number of garments at a showcase at The Vintage Garden in Mumbai at the end of last month.
The brand launched in Pune at Praan:t and took part in the latest edition of Design One in Mumbai last month.
