Elahe steps into menswear with multi-brand offering
Multi-brand luxury Indian womenswear retailer Elahe has stepped into menswear and launched a curated selection of brands on its dedicated e-commerce store in time for the festive season.
“Here's presenting Elahe Man,” Elahe announced on Facebook. “From impeccably tailored nehru jackets and sherwanis to bespoke kurtas and hand-basted achkans, our curation… is specially for men with refined taste.”
Elahe’s new menswear selection features brands including Sabyasachi, Divyam Mehta, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Anushree Reddy, Son of a Noble, Mahima Mahajan, and Rahul Mishra, among others. The selection focuses on traditional and occasion wear with a number of fusion wear styles thrown in. Elahe already retailed womenswear from a number of the brands featured online and in-store.
With online shopping becoming increasingly popular as the pandemic continues, many fashion retailers are increasing their online offerings. By adding menswear to its product selection, Elahe is presenting itself as a one-stop-shop option for festive wear, and also offers international shipping.
Elahe has also tentatively begun to re-start its in-store events schedule with social distancing measures in place.
From October 21 to 22, Elahe hosted Aneeth Arora’s sustainable womenswear brand Pero to present its autumn/winter collection ‘Disco’ at its store in Hyderabad. Elahe also recently hosted a curated Navratri festive fashion exhibition in its stores featuring colour coded occasion wear looks.
