Edwin creates capsule collection from dead-stock

Making use of production scraps is nothing new in the textile industry. Many brand use left-over materials to make linings or details in future collections. Japanese brand Edwin, operated by Work in Progress in Europe, has taken this concept further and created an entire collection made from dead-stock and named it Surplus. The designers at Edwin the left-over fabric to create a 15-piece limited edition collection.
Surplus is a collection of minimalistic and functional items, including jeans, shirts, jackets and shorts with prices for jeans at 110 euros. The collection is available on the Edwin website and at its London store as well as at several boutiques.
