EPCH to promote Indian businesses in Germany at Heimtextil 2020

The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts will bring a group of Indian businesses to Heimtextil 2020 to showcase textiles. The trade show’s 50th edition will run from January 7 to 10, 2020, in Messe Frankfurt, Germany. 

Heimtextil 2020 will feature textiles as well as homeware and provides manufacturers and retailers a chance to meet buyers from around the world to expand their distribution network. The EPCH will host Indian businesses at the event in the Household Textile Section in Hall 10.3 and the Home Textile Section in Hall 6.2.

The Household Textiles section will feature product categories including bed linens, textile and non-textile home accessories, table linens, cushions, and miscellaneous bedroom textiles. The Home Textiles section will feature decorative textiles, furniture fabrics, yarns, curtains, and outdoor fabrics among others. 

The EPCH will receive applications from businesses that would like to participate in the fair and will select a group of applicants to take to Germany. Applications to take part in Heimtextil close on September 25, 2019. 

The EPCH describes the event as “one of the leading and important sourcing trade show in Europe for home and textiles sourcing,” on a post on its website. Around 3,016 exhibitors from 65 countries participated in Heimtextil’s 2019 edition and 67,216 trade visitors from 156 countries visited the event for sourcing. Similar figures are expected at its upcoming edition.
