Doodlage, which is know for its upcycled garments and natural, quirky aesthetic, has launched its first collaborative ceramics collection with pottery brand Srinia Ceramics, the brand announced on Facebook. The minimalist, rustic line features plates, incense holders, and cups with a colour scheme of ivory, rust, and grey and retails from Doodlage’s e-commerce store. The line is part of the brand’s move towards offering a more comprehensive sustainable lifestyle offering.

As part of its recent joint initiative with Allied Blenders & Distillers, Doodlage diverted 2,500 kilograms of textile waste from landfill sites, the brand announced on Facebook. The brand upcycled the textile waste to produce 1 lakh bags to function as handcrafted packaging for bottles of Sterling reserve B10 limited edition collection.

The project also saved 25 million litres of water and generated 33,000 man hours of fair work for the brand’s team of artisans. The upcycled packaging not only adds an extra level of design to the Allied Blenders & Distillers bottles, it also contributes to reducing textile waste, a significant source of environmental pollution, especially in India.
