Donear Industries Ltd Q4 net profit down 19 percent to Rs 9 crore

Donear Industries Ltd witnessed a 19 percent decline in net profit to Rs 9 crore ($1.1 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 2023, as against Rs 11 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s sales for the quarter rose by 23 percent to Rs 214 crore, as against Rs 174 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

For the full financial year 2023, the company’s net profit rose 59 percent to Rs 36 crore as compared to Rs 22 crore for financial year ended March 2022.

The total income for the quarter rose by 43 percent to Rs 835 crore, as against Rs 581 crore reported in the previous fiscal year.

Donear’s fabrics are sold across India through a network of agents, wholesalers, and retailers. It exports to over 30 countries across the globe.

 Donear’s fabrics are used by India’s leading brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Peter England, Blackberry, Arvind, Wills Lifestyle, Future Group and more for their apparel products.
