Dollar Industries Ltd posts Q4 net profit of Rs 36 crore

Dollar Industries Ltd witnessed an 88 percent rise in its net profit to Rs 36 crore ($4.7 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 2022, as against Rs 19 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 22 percent to Rs 376 crore, as against Rs 310 crore it posted in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

For the full financial year 2021-22, the company reported a total income of Rs1356 crore with a net profit of Rs 147 crore.

Going forward, the company plans to invest to expand its warehouse and production facilities. During the year, Dollar Industries entered the exclusive brand outlet segment and plans to open around 30 stores during the current financial year.

The company also entered a 51-49 joint venture with Goat Brands Lab for Pepe Jeans Innerfashion Pvt. Ltd marking its entry into the premium brands segment.
