Dollar Industries net profit jumps 21 percent to Rs 23 crore

Dollar Industries Limited witnessed a 21 percent rise in its net profit to Rs 23 crore ($3.3 million) for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2019 as compared to Rs 19 crore it had posted during the same period last fiscal.

The company’s net sales for the quarter also rose by a percent to Rs 297.80 crore as against Rs 297.63 crore it had reported in the corresponding quarter last year.
 
Dollar Industries EBITDA for the quarter was at Rs 35 crore up 6 percent from Rs 33 crore it had posted in March 2018.

The company is a leading player in the innerwear market in India with brands like Missy, Bigboss, Champion, Ultra Thermals under the brand Dollar and premium brand Force NXT and Force Go Wear.
 
It is looking to further expand its product portfolio of Force NXT, Dollar Missy and Dollar Bigboss during the current fiscal for higher margins.
 
Dollar Industries has a strong retail presence in all states across India and is present in more than 95,000 multi-brand outlets. The company also sells through its online portal and e-commerce sites in India.
