Frank Ocean declared his love of Chanel earlier this month when he dropped a track named after the luxurious French fashion house, and now rumors of a collaboration between the two are spreading fast.

Wednesday the brand took to Instagram with two cryptic shout-outs to the musician, posting a black and white poster reading: "We see both sides like Frank." A second split image showed a shot of the sea juxtaposed with a bottle of the house's iconic No.5 fragrance, and read "Ocean / Land." Both pictures were captioned with the hashtags "#YouKnowMeAndYouDont, #FrankOcean and #CHANEL."

The captions echo the lyrics of Ocean's new track, which include the lines: "I see both sides like Chanel/ See on both sides like Chanel," possibly in reference to the house's famous logo.

Of course, this could just be a case of the artist and the fashion brand showing their mutual appreciation for one another, but fans are hoping there could be more to it. After all, Chanel has a long-standing history of collaborating with the music world, and recently unveiled multi-talented singer and producer Pharrell Williams as its first male handbag campaign star, featuring him in the upcoming ads for its new 'Gabrielle' bag. And Ocean, who starred in Clavin Klein's Fall/Winter 2016 campaign, has already made his mark on the fashion world. Watch this space.
