Divya Khosla Kumar turns showstopper for designer Charu Parashar at AIFW

Bollywood actor & director Divya Khosla Kumar walked the ramp as show stopper for designer Charu Parashar on the final day of the Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW).

Divya walked the ramp for the designer wearing a resort piece from her Spring Summer 2018 collection titled ‘Immortelle’. The floor-length gown was made with handloom silk in shades of deep blue, nude pink and leaf green with floral embroidery.

Charu’s collection was inspired from the beauty of the Victorian glasshouse coupled with ancient Indian craft.

Charu Parashar in a statement said “My SS ’18 collection derives inspiration from a Victorian glass house. Titled Immortelle which is a French flower, this collection is rich in floral prints.
 
“The collection exudes beauty and the undying spirit of the woman of today, who is confident, bold yet rooted. Set in tones navy blues, champagne pinks, greens, lilacs this collection denotes purity,” she added.

The collection includes jackets with saris, drape saris, dhotis, capes, halter dresses with capes & jackets and pleated dresses.
