Desizn Circle expands fashion education programmes across India

Desizn Circle plans to continue to expand its fashion training programme through its new online learning facilities, an upcoming design award, and an expanding curriculum.

“We are planning to launch a design award for students to motivate budding designers,” the business’ founder Sumit Saurabh told Forbes India. The business also plans to introduce design courses that will help entrepreneurs launch their own brands. 

The business recently launched its online training platform in order to reach students from different locations and give them the opportunity to study from home. The programme includes live classes and online tests. An international outreach programme has attracted students from Nepal, Dubai, and Sri Lanka, according to Saurabh.

The business reported an annual turnover of over Rs 2 crore ($301,000) in the 2019 financial year and currently counts around 1,200 students, Saurabh told Forbes India. The business expects around Rs 4.5 crore revenue in the current fiscal year.

Sumit Saurabh founded Desizn Circle and opened its first centre in Hauz Khas Village in Delhi.the business went on to launch a centre in Noida in 2018 and also offers “postal courses” for students in other states. Training courses in various aspects of design are offered to students from Class 10 onwards who wish to pursue further education in the field and graduates who wish to pursue careers in design and fashion management.
