Designers Shriya Som and Sunaina Khera hold meet-and-greet, collection launches at Ensemble

Womenswear designers Shriya Som and Sunaina Khera held meet-and-greet sessions and collection launches at multi-brand Indian luxury fashion retailer Ensemble, located in DLF Emporio in Delhi on Thursday.

 
On February 20, Ensemble hosted two up-and-coming womenswear brand’s at its store in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, the business announced on Facebook. The interactive event gave the capital’s shoppers the chance to shop Shriya Som and Sunaina Khera’s spring/summer collections for the first time and gave them the chance to chat with the designers about their inspirations for the designs.
 
Sunaina Khera presented her ‘Promises’ collection, which was inspired by a note she received from her best friend which read, “Ever since you were in college showing me your beautiful work, I remember all those swatches and the joy they would bring to your face… I knew it then, on my big day I would wear something made by you.”

The collection celebrates the promise of friendship, sisterhood, and the joy of creation with highly feminine designs and romantic silhouettes.
 
Shriya Som’s womenswear collection, fresh from the runway at the recent Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai, launched at Ensemble with a flurry of pastel hues and ruffles for the spring/summer season. The collection, which features gowns, sets, and cocktail dresses, plays with fish-scale style oversized sequins and contrasting proportions. 
 
Ensemble also recently launched a number of collections by the ‘Gen Next’ designers who showcased collections at Lakmé Fashion Week last week. Brands including Graine, Chandrima, and Akhl presented a selection of their designs at Ensemble’s Kala Ghoda store in Mumbai from February 18 to 19.
