Designer Sikandar Nawaz opens Delhi Runway Week 2019

Designer Sikandar Nawaz opened the second edition of the Delhi Runway week in the nation’s capital city New Delhi on August 13.
Designers like Kingshuk Bhandari, Soniya Gaba, Maninder Gulati, Vicky Saini, and Mukesh Dubey also showcased their creations at the event.
Delhi runway week 2019 aims to promote new talent by integrating traditional and modern ensemble patterns of motifs, textiles and crafted masterpieces.
“Delhi runway week 2019 is going to focus on creating high-end couture, pret and also on sustainable wearable costumes. The show featuring new-gen designs and creations has become the benchmark of fresh fashion,” Arif Siddiqui from A&A Media Tech Worldwide said in a statement.
Achint Kaur added: "The extravagant event has given new opportunities to many fresh designers since the first edition last year, and I’m happy to see what the young designers have presented during the show this year. The fashion industry in India will certainly benefit from these new-gen designers who bring freshness and innovation in their showcase."
On the final day, designers like Gagan Chandhok, Allies Sharma, Vipin Agarwal, Parul Tyagi, House of Cocoon by Lakshay, Esha Gupta, House of Zeniaa, and Harry’s Designers, will be showcasing their collections at the event.
The grand finale show will feature Khadi designer Rosy Ahluwalia, and couturier Abdur Rehman, who will close the show with their khadi creations.
