Designer label Asha Gautam launches e-commerce store

Designer label Asha Gautam has entered the online market with the launch of its e-commerce stores to boost sales amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
 

Asha Gautam’s e-commerce store will comprise of a range sarees in Bandhani, Patola, Paithani, and Banarasi, and also feature a myriad of Lehengas in handmade textiles, kurtas, and anarkalis, in addition to their hand-woven sarees.
 
Asha Gautam also plans to offer personalised experience and customised designs to its customers by upgrading its e-store in the coming months.

Commenting on the launch, Asha Gupta, in a statement said: “I have my buyers who have been with me for 22 years but there are some who are not able to engage with us regularly due to the demographics. I am hopeful this step will bring back those relationships which made Asha Gautam what it is today.”
 
Gautam Gupta added: “The idea of an online store was brewing in our minds for a long time but due to time constraints we kept on deferring. This lockdown gave us time to consolidate all that we have and to create the website in the way we have been wanting to. The website will keep surprising the clients with novel ideas, innovations, and collaborations and of course new products. In our commitment towards promotion of local crafts and Vocal for Local as our PM Modi rightly said this is a big step and we are quite excited for the same.”
 
Asha Gautam is a designer label founded in 2003 by mother-son duo, Asha Gupta and Gautam Gupta. The brand also sells its products through its exclusive brand outlet in Delhi and other multi-brand designer stores across India.
