Designer Daniella Helayel collaborates with Koovs

Flamboyant Brazilian designer Daniella Helayel collaborates with Koovs for The Princess Collection. Inspired by Pippa Middleton's much anticipated wedding and launching in May to coincide with the summer party season, the collection will offer day to evening wear.

Helayel's Princess Collection for Koovs will build on her statement fit-and-flare jersey, with flamboyant prints and fabrics. Featuring baby pink, ‘Kiss Me’ prints, metallics, off the shoulder ruffles and halter necks, the collection offers a variety of styles.

Having returned to fashion last year with her new label Dhela, this is her first collaboration with Koovs specifically 'for young style-conscious women in India.'

"I started designing to make clothes that made women feel sexy and confident... I believe that feeling gorgeous, sophisticated and confident should be accessible to every woman," said Helayel.

"The Duchess and Pippa have become global style icons and what they wear is watched all over the world. We are delighted to take that inspiration with our first Princess Collection for India," said Mary Turner, CEO, Koovs, noting that the collection will be revealed in May.

A favourite of Kate – Duchess of Cambridge, Helayel's designs have been worn by A-List female celebrities such as Madonna, Kylie, JLo, Ellie Goulding, Keira Knightly, Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes.
