Designer Ritu Kumar launches new homeware line

Designer Ritu Kumar has launched a new product line for homeware online in India and in select stores as she celebrates half a century in Indian fashion.

Ritu Kumar Home launched on July 22 as the brand known for its opulent heritage wear turns its hard to homeware for the first time. The range launched with products including bed linen, wallpaper, tableware, cushions, and candles, all inspired by the rich textiles Kumar uses in her apparel, and launched for retail on July 31.  

Kumar launched the line on her brand’s Instagram stories and the range is now available offline at her Khan Market, New Delhi, South Extension 2, New Delhi, and Sarath City Mall, Hyderabad stores. The collection available on the brand’s e-commerce store ships in India only.

Kumar is also taking part in the Vogue Wedding Show from August 2 to 4 at the Taj Hotel in New Delhi. Kumar will present a collection inspired by the Silk Road at the event. 

Ritu Kumar launched her eponymous brand 50 years who and currently counts 90 stores in India as well as an international presence.
