Dealshare appoints Kamaldeep Singh as president of retail division

Social e-commerce platform Dealshare has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Kamaldeep Singh as president of the retail division.

In his new role, he will be responsible to fuel the growth of the retail business for Dealshare, organisational transformation, and business strategy execution.

Commenting on the appointment, Vineet Rao, founder CEO of Dealshare in a statement said, “We are pleased to welcome Kamaldeep to the leadership team of Dealshare. With a slew of recent top-level hires to strengthen our core team over the last one year, Kamaldeep will take our leadership pool a notch higher and support our vision to be India’s largest mass market player.”

On his new role, Kamaldeep Singh added, “Dealshare with their focussed efforts in identifying the country’s need and fulfilling this mission with a disruptive social commerce model is very encouraging and poses a phenomenal opportunity to transform Indian retail. Kamaldeep Singh has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry and has previously worked as the CEO of Future Retail’s Big Bazaar.

The Tiger Global-backed Dealshare currently claims to have over 2 crore consumers and fulfils 4 lakh orders every day in over 150 cities across eight states.
