The 15-day Crafts Bazaar will showcase traditional hand-made crafts, art, and textiles by over 180 artisans from across the country. The event gives a platform to artisans and craftspeople from many states of India to sell their merchandise at the Bazaar.

"The idea behind our annual crafts bazaars all over India is to help the artisans in keeping their craft alive and connect directly with the consumer. It's intriguing to keep the traditional techniques and authenticity of the craft alive and yet contemporarise it to make it relevant for today's time," said Jaya Jaitly, textile revivalist, who conceptualised the event.

"Design innovation is the focal point of the 15-day crafts bazaar. The bazaar aims to break the barriers between the craftspeople and the community, and bring together traditional weaves, sustainable home decor items, and crafts,” she added.

The Dastkari Haat Crafts Bazaar entry fee is priced at Rs 20 and will run from January 1-15 from 11 am to 9 pm.
