Dastkaarii to promote handicrafts in Lucknow this October

Business-to-customer shopping event Dastkaarii will promote handicrafts, clothing, and independent businesses in Lucknow at its upcoming event from October 16 to 17 at venue The Regnant.

Dastkaarii - Handicraft and Lifestyle Exhibition will return next month for its ninth season, the event announced on Facebook. The shopping fair will feature around 55 exhibitors in product categories including traditional and occasion wear, fusion wear, handloom sarees, jewellery, accessories, homeware, furniture, trousseau services, makeup artists, and lifestyle items, among others. 
 
Dastkaarii expects around 2,000 visitors over the course of the two-day event, 10Times reported. The event held its most recent edition in the city in March this year following a hiatus due to the pandemic.

The majority of participating businesses will be in the bridge-to-luxury segment of the market, the event announced on Facebook. The free event will also follow strict health and safety and social distancing measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
 
The shopping fair aims to provide Lucknow’s shoppers with a multi-brand selection of handicraft items from numerous parts of the country. It also aims to give businesses a launchpad from which to reach new customers, for which it is also running a range of media and publicity campaigns for the exhibiting businesses.
