Danish brand Ecco partners with Metro Brands to expand its presence in India
Denmark-based footwear and accessories brand Ecco has partnered with leading footwear retail chain Metro Brands Limited to expand its presence in the Indian market.
With this partnership, Ecco will sell its products through selected Metro, Mochi stores and websites across India.
Metro Brands expects this partnership to increase its customer base and help it strengthen its presence in the premium footwear segment in India.
Commenting on the partnership, Nissan Joseph, CEO of MBL in a statement said, “We are delighted to partner with a globally loved brand like Ecco as this allows us to create a premium footwear experience for our Indian consumers and in the process, helps us further expand this segment. Ecco is a family company, and it controls its entire supply chain directly, from leather and shoe production to wholesale and retail sales. The brand is distributed in 101 countries via mono-brand stores and multi-brand retailers.
