Dabur expects high single digit growth for June quarter

Fast moving consumer goods business Dabur expects to report high single digit revenue growth on a high base of 35.4% for the first quarter of the 2023 financial year as it continues to gain market share across numerous sectors.

Dabur in continuing to expand its market share in the beauty and wellness category among others and foresees mid single-digit volume growth in its India market along with high single-digit revenue growth in its global business, it announced in a quarterly report on Wednesday, ET Bureau reported.
The business stated that it has managed to remain resilient amid numerous challenges including the continuing pandemic and the current global economic uncertainty.

“The foods and beverages vertical has seen strong double-digit growth in the quarter on the back of improving out-of-home consumption, innovation, and intense summer season,” the business said in a statement on June 7, ET Bureau reported. “The home and personal care portfolio is expected to report high single to low double-digit growth.” 

Dabur retails a wide selection of Ayurvedic products and its focus on health enabled it to tap into the growing consumer demand for natural and health-focused products during the pandemic. The business retails over 250 herbal and Ayurvedic products in numerous categories including beauty and personal care.
