DLF brands bring Disney & Me stores to India

DLF brands have got into an exclusive licensing agreement with Disney Consumer Products to open Disney & Me stores in the Indian market.
 

The company recently opened two stores for Disney & Me at the Mall of India in Noida and Ambience Mall in Gurugram. The stores will house exclusive fashion lines coupled with global range of toys for kids between 3-12 years.
 
Disney & Me stores will stock Disney, Marvel and Star Wars merchandise and feature six dedicated zones for Disney's Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse, Disney Princesses, "Frozen", Marvel's Avengers, Spider-Man and Star Wars.

"We are excited to open Disney & Me licensed stores in the country. We have curated the best of Disney, Marvel and Star Wars merchandise to provide something for every kid. Our aim is to offer parents an ultimate retail destination to find compelling products for their young ones," Timmy Sarna, Managing Director, DLF Brands said in a statement.
 
“This introduction will also play a critical role in how children and families experience stories and characters of Disney at retail”, said Abhishek Maheshwari, Country Head, Disney India.
 
DLF Brands is expected open around 50 Disney stores across the country in the coming years.
 
Disney is the largest retail character licensor with $45 billion in retail sales across the globe. In India, it is available in retail stores and through online sites such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and others.
