DKNY launches sportswear collab with MLB

Just in time for the Opening Day, DKNY is launching a capsule womenswear collection in partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB). The sport-inspired line takes DKNY’s city-ready sport styles onto the field, offering a game day uniform for all 30 MLB teams.

The collection is made up of baseball iterations on several DKNY classics such the sneaker dress, coach’s jacket, cropped hoodie and leggings, which are all cobranded with an MLB team icon using bold graphics and logos.

Form-fitting activewear styles are also in the line-up featuring team logos on the chest, across the back, and down the legs.

Marking the collection release, DKNY will host a VIP launch event in partnership with MLB on Opening Day 2019.

There will be a two-hour interactive, engaging VIP event featuring notable attendees across the fashion, lifestyle and sports sectors.

Alternatively, the DKNY Sport X MLB collection will be available from March 28 via both DKNY and MLB online stores, as well as at Macy's and select U.S. ballparks.

DKNY is a global fashion brand founded in 1989. In 2016, it was acquired G-III Apparel Group. For the last fiscal year, G-III reported record-breaking annual sales of $3.08 billion, up 10% on the year prior.
