D2C Ecommerce acquires jewellery brand ‘Access Her’

D2C Ecommerce, a multi-brand e-commerce platform has acquired Mumbai-based fashion jewellery brand Access Her to enter the online jewellery and accessories segment.

D2C Ecommerce will be investing in newer categories to bolster the brand’s footprint and planning expansion into global markets including UK, U.S, and Europe.  

With this acquisition, the founders of Access Her, Gaurav Babel and Reena Jain will be part of the core team at D2C Ecommerce.

Commenting on the acquisition, Manish Gupta, CEO founder of D2C Ecommerce in a statement said, “The acquisition is the outcome of carefully thought through strategy and synergy between the two brands. This partnership gives us an opportunity of entering a new growing jewellery category and will help us scale the business to new heights by leveraging our existing capabilities.”

Gaurav Babel, founder at the brand added, “We are excited to partner and be onboard as part of the core team at D2C Ecommerce. Together, we believe that we will not only establish Access Her as a prominent brand in the category but also lend our expertise in helping D2C Ecommerce scale to newer heights. By joining hands with them, we plan to expand our business across the globe and establish the brand as the most preferred in the fashion jewellery and accessories category.”

Access Her was launched in 2018 and has a wide product range that includes necklace sets, earrings, nose rings, bangles, bracelets, body jewellery, hair accessories, bags, among others. The brand is eyeing a revenue of Rs 10 crore ($1.2 million) in the financial year 2022-23.
