With the new store launch, the brand introduced their latest collection – LiteRide to the Indian market. The collection, which just made its worldwide debut, is priced between Rs 3500 (approx $50) to Rs 6000 (approx $90) in India.

Apart from the Literide collection the store features a full line-up of the brand's flats, loafers, sneakers, flip flops and its signature trademark clogs.

Crocs which has been struggling in India is hoping that the new collection Literide will help boost sales and revive its fortunes in the country.

“We’re witnessing a shift from comfort being a ‘nice-to-have’ to a consumer ‘must-have,’ and we think Literide answers that call,” said Michelle Poole, Crocs Sr. Vice President of Global Product and Marketing. “In fact, our Literide comfort technology is a perfect fit for consumers who want to feel comfortable all day every day or who simply want a stylish complement to their athleisure wear.”

“While Croslite remains at the heart of our comfort story and our classic footwear, we continue to up the ante by delivering innovative comfort to our consumers. The bottom line: we believe in continuous innovation in order to make our consumers feel comfortable in their own shoes”, Poole added.

Crocs currently have around 74 exclusive brand outlets and over 1000 points of sales in the country. It is also available on all leading e-commerce websites. Last year the brand had sold around 1.5 million pairs in the country.
