Crocs holds party in New Delhi with Nitin Bal Chauhan
Footwear brand Crocs held a pool party with designer Nitin Bal Chauhan in New Delhi as part of its international “Croctober” celebrations and to promote its Jibbitz charms range.
Crocs has rolled out a number of marketing initiatives in India recently to help the brand grow in the country. Most recently, Nitin Bal Chauhan, known for his experimental ready-to-wear and couture designs, partnered with Crocs for a DIY pool party in the capital last week, Elle India reported. Chauhan collaborated on the party after recently debuting his latest collection “Dementia” at Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week.
The Crocs event promoted the brand’s new additions to its Jibbitz charms range. The plastic charms are designed to attach on to the holes in Crocs’ shoes and guests at the party customised their own Crocs with the new range of accessories.
Crocs has been focusing increasingly on its India business. The brand also recently announced Bollywood celebrity Priyanka Chopra Jonas as its global brand ambassador for 2020. She will take part in the brand’s “Come As You Are” campaign next year.
Crocs entered the Indian market in 2007. The brand opened its 100th India store in December last year and is continuing to expand its brick-and-mortar retail footprint in the country.
