Crescent Moon to return to Mumbai with fashion exhibition
The Crescent Moon fashion and lifestyle exhibition will return to Mumbai for its upcoming Spring edition on March 24 at the Four Seasons Hotel, to promote women-run fashion brands in the city.
Crescent Moon, an exhibition which aims to promote female-run businesses from across India to Mumbai’s shoppers, will return in 2020 with a spring edition in March, the event announced on Facebook.
The shopping fair will feature product categories including traditional wear, occasion wear, accessories, jewellery, footwear, shawls, lifestyle items, and food items. The majority of brands will be positioned in the mid-range and bridge-to-luxury sections of the market.
The event will also hold a 'Festive Edition' on July 28, 2020, also at the Four Seasons Hotel in Worli, Mumbai. The edition will have a focus on fashion for the autumn wedding season.
Crescent Moon held its previous Diwali-themed edition at the St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai on October 1. Participating brands included Ojasvini Kolkata, Shea Luxe Jewels, Libaaz Vatika, Flutter Goa, Ultravoilet, My Best Friend Jewels, Usha Bagri, Goosebumps, Valdaria, Krishika Jain, Jasmine Shah, Paprika, and Arha, among others.
Fashion events business Crescent Moon was launched by mother-daughter entrepreneurs, Seema Jain and Natasha Patel, in 2007 and holds around two business-to-customer exhibitions a year. The business also works with NGOs to empower women and children.
