Couture India Show 2021 ran in the capital from August 28 to 30 to facilitate networking in the couture jewellery industry and boost business. Featured product categories included gold fusion jewellery, Polki and Jadau jewellery, diamond jewellery, and bridal jewellery, among others. Featured brands included Tibarumal Jewellery, Achal Jewels, K K Jewels, Vijay Gems and Jewellery, Manish Bhindi Jewels, Angel Jewels, Laxmi Jewels, and Splurge Jewels, among others.

The event kicked off with an inauguration session featuring show organiser Arpit Kala, Gem and Jewellery Council chairman Ashish Pethe, and Indian Jeweller magazine publisher Alok Kala among others. To follow on from its New Delhi showcase, the jewellery show plans to hold its next edition in early 2022 in Goa.

“I have been visiting the Couture show for the past three years, and I find it an apt show for a retailer like us, where we get to meet select manufactures and traders who meet our requirement easily,” said Kailash Kabra of K K Jewels, the event reported on Facebook. “The show is organised in the most lavish and professional way, a mix of work and leisure. I am looking forward to attending the couture show in Delhi.”

“Couture India is different from other B2B jewellery events,” said Pradeep Gupta of Tibarumal Jewellery. “It has a very convenient format and is not too crowded. Other shows have too many people. This one is very selective about its invitees, and that makes it easy for us to attend it. It is a good show to visit.”
