The shopping fair is designed to target demand for wedding jewellery from April to July, 2022 as well as buyers for the Akshaya Tritiya festival when it is auspicious to purchase gold jewellery.

“After the Covid setback, the Couture India Show is back, stronger and more glamorous,” the event’s organisers announced on Facebook. “We are bringing to you the most exquisite jewels in the industry and most elite exhibitors in India.”

Organised by Indian Jeweller magazine, the event expects up to 100 exhibitors and up to 1,000 visitors over the course of its three-day fair, according to its 10Times events page. The event’s date is designed to give jewellery manufacturers sufficient time in which to ready new stock and designs.

The event will also facilitate networking between manufacturers and retailers and evening entertainment will also be provided to participating businesses. Featured brands will be in the luxury segment of the market and the event expects to draw an audience of high-end retailers to enable jewellery brands and stores to buy, sell, and foster relationships.
