CoutLoot launches new wholesale platform

Social commerce business CoutLoot has launched a new wholesale platform which is designed to connect both offline and online sellers with small and medium manufacturers across India.

The wholesale platform will connect millions of businesses and will increase profit for manufacturers by cutting out middle men, according to the business, ET Tech reported. Upon launching, the wholesale platform would immediately cater to over 7 lakh sellers and should enable them to increase revenue threefold.
 
“The platform is tailor-made for smaller retailers and sellers coming from beyond the metro cities of India,” said CoutLoot’s co-founder Jasmeet Thind, ET Bureau reported. “The wholesale SAAS platform will be integrated with other platforms, short video apps, and logistics platforms to plug supply chain issues for every small Indian business or creator. The sellers would be able to source products directly from the manufacturers at smaller MoQs (minimum order quantity) at the right price through which they can order even with small working capital. It will also help them earn better margins.”

The wholesale platform currently has a catalogue of around 5,000 products and CoutLoot aims to increase this to 60,000 products in the coming two months. Products, which include fashion, home décor, electronics, and other FMCG categories, are sourced from small to medium sized factories across India and the platform also focuses on small and medium sized businesses in non-metro locations.
