Cosmoprof India to hold phygital trade show in Mumbai this February

Cosmetics trade show Cosmoprof India will return to Mumbai with a business-to-business fair from February 22 to 23 at the Hotel Sahara Star in Mumbai. The ‘phygital’ event will mix online and offline features. 

Organised by BolognaFiere and Informa Markets, ‘Signature Event by Cosmoprof India’ aims to connect beauty businesses, create networking opportunities in the industry, and boost international trade. A range of online features are designed to enable those who cannot attend the trade show due to travel restrictions to take part. 
 
“The phygital event will be an opportunity to launch products, engage with brands and suppliers and share ideas that will shape the future of the beauty industry in India, in compliance with health and safety standards,” Cosmoprof India announced on Facebook.

The ‘Cosmoprof India MyMatch’ digital platform will facilitate live interactions with businesses at the physical event. The trade show’s ‘Connect’ platform will facilitate on-site speed date business meetings.
 
“The beauty market in India has immense potential, with an increase in consumption of 60% in the last five years,” said the organisers in a statement.

“This makes it a hotbed of competition and opportunity for multinational and homegrown brands.”
