The company, which currently has more than 1500 retail outlets in the country, is looking to rapidly scale up its presence and touch 10,000 outlets in 2018.

The natural cosmetics and beauty brand from Ahmedabad had recently partnered with Aditya Birla to sell their range of organic personal care products at the retailer’s ‘More Megastore’ multi-brand outlets. The company is looking at similar partnerships with other companies to meet its set target of 10,000 stores this year.

“The company plans to expand its retail reach to 10,000 outlets over the next 12 months with an expanded product portfolio. Currently, 65 per cent of our revenues comes from the personal care segment, while 35 per cent comes from the food category,” Elkana Ezekiel, Non-Executive Director, Azafran was quoted as saying by BusinessLine.

“We are planning a foray into the home-care segment with a new product range to be launched in three months. We have set a turnover target of ₹100 crore in three-four years,” Ezekiel added.

Azafran Innovacion’s Azafran Organics is a line of organic and natural cosmetic, beauty, and personal care products and was founded a decade ago in 2007.
