Condé Nast College opens in China

Condé Nast College, which opened in London in April 2013, has announced that it's expanding globally. The educational institution is opening its Fashion & Design Centre in Shanghai, China, reports Vogue UK.

The centre will open in autumn and feature courses in fashion design, photography, styling, marketing, digital communication and branding. At a later stage it will add courses in merchandising, e-commerce, social media, retail and illustration. Condé Nast College in Shanghai will be located on Mid Huaihai Road and scholarships will be available from autumn.

"Condé Nast is deeply committed to China and to meeting the needs of the market and our business partners in the fashion universe. It is natural to expand our activities in this direction," Jonathan Newhouse, chairman and chief executive of Condé Nast said.

So far, more than 400 students have graduated from the Condé Nast College into the industry.
