Colorbar focuses on vegan cosmetics with new nail lacquer line

Beauty brand Colorbar has increased its focus on vegan and natural beauty and has launched a ‘Vegan Nail Lacquer’ line which features 128 shades.

“Our all-new Vegan Nail Lacquer is the future of makeup,” Colorbar announced on Facebook on January 18, launching the new line. “With a non-toxic Patented 20 Free Formula and a double-patented design enriched with biotin and calcium, the Vegan Nail Lacquer promises a uniquely clean and green makeup experience.”
 
Colorbar’s new launch is made in India and features a formula from Luxembourg, according to the brand’s e-commerce store, where the line has just launched. The brand has been expanding its range of vegan and natural products in line with the increase in popularity of these product categories in the Indian market as a whole. Colorbar also recently launched a range of cruelty-free, vegan, and paraben-free body milks, which come in avocado and almond scents and a range of skincare made using hemp. 

The global vegan beauty industry is expected to increase by 6.1% between 2017 and 2023 and India is set to be one of the top exporters in the sector, according to data from Market Research Future, sourced by online vegan publication, Livekindly.

An increased focus on health caused by the pandemic has further added to this trend as shoppers seek out vegan and natural products. Colorbar is one of many Indian cosmetics brands which have embraced this trend with new vegan and natural product lines.
