Coach opens store at Mumbai's Jio World Drive

Accessories brand Coach has opened a brick-and-mortar outlet in Jio World Drive mall in Mumbai featuring a ‘design-it-yourself’ experience centre and a selection of ready-to-wear. 

Coach’s new store on the ground floor of Jio World Drive houses its selection of handbags and leather goods, Jio World Drive announced on Facebook. The store’s design is inspired by the aesthetics of New York, where Coach was founded in 1941, and has sections for footwear, travel accessories, jewellery, and handbags from the brand’s runway collection. 
 
The space also features Coach’s first customisation station in India. Customers can have their Coach bags and leather goods personalised with decorations including leather tea roses, prairie rivets, and monograms. The station also offers leather care and cleaning solutions with a 360 degree desk and a dedicated ‘Coach Craftsman’. 

The new store is the first Coach store in India to stock the brand’s men’s ready-to-wear collection. The line features the signature Coach logo emblazoned on casual and semi-formal wear with matching separates and winter wear.  
 
Jio World Drive in Mumbai hosts a wide range of international fashion brands including Adidas, Steve Madden, Vero Moda, Superdry, Da Milano, G-Star Raw, and Nike, among others. The mall is located in Juhu and recent store openings also include U.S.-based homeware brand West Elm and and what the mall describes as the world’s first drive-in rooftop cinema.
