Club Factory surpasses 100 million monthly active users in India
Leading e-commerce platform Club Factory witnessed a surge in customers last year, which helped it surpass 100 million monthly active users (MAUs) in India.
Club Factory also saw a rise in traffic and clocked a four-fold growth in orders in 2019 as compared to the previous year.
Club Factory had earlier raised $100 million (Rs 710 crore) last year to expand its presence in the country by onboarding more sellers to widen its product range.
"With our investment and efforts to enhance the user experience, we have managed to reduce delivery time by as much as 30 percent with average positive product rating going up by 40 percent in 2019. Returns or product exchange on the platform have dropped by almost 25 percent," Vincent Lou, Founder and CEO of Club Factory said in a statement.
"Moreover, our strength and excellence in listing high cost-efficient products have helped increase traction for Club Factory in tier-II and III cities, especially those of Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Bihar," he added.
Club Factory sees India as an important market for growth and has set a target to on-board 100,000 local sellers in 2020.
Club Factory started operations in India in 2016 and was recently named as the third most popular e-commerce platform in India behind Amazon and Flipkart by data analytics platform App Annie.
