Clove launches Abraham & Thakore x Ikkis collection

The multi-brand luxury boutique Clove has launched a limited edition collaborative collection by Abraham & Thakore and Ikkis. The collection is titled “Elements” and features 12 khadi garments, according to Clove’s press release.

This festive season, Clove has brought together Abraham & Thakore and Ikkis by Gunjan Gupta to launch a collaborative collection as an in-store exclusive. The Elements collection sees Abraham & Thakore create clothing inspired by Ikkis’ minimalist homeware of which a 21-piece collection resides in-store. 

Ikkis’ range of chai glasses, lamps, and champagne glasses have inspired Abraham & Thakore to create an ecru and ebony collection of tunics, shirts, pants, and kurtas that are now available at Clove for the whole festive season. The collection comprises 12 garments that take handspun, handwoven khadi as a base and is designed to be a modern take on India’s heritage craft traditions.

“As the original minimalists who bring relevance to Indian crafts with a sense of function, both brands celebrate modern India’s magical traditional forms but in a contemporary avatar,” said Clove owner Samyukta Nair, according to Clove’s press release. “This unified design language is so culturally relevant in a larger global setting. In being simple and beautiful, this collaboration is our attempt to shift gaze to a global standpoint on Indian design.”

Clove was founded by Samyukta Nair and is located in Colaba, Mumbai. The store retails a range of luxury fashion and lifestyle brands. Along with the Elements capsule collection, Abraham & Thakore’s festive line will also be available in store.
